Saint-Jacut Village France; One Village, 11 Beaches
A village… and eleven beaches! Who says better ? Placed on a tongue of land, in the heart of a landscape endlessly transformed by the tides, Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer is a little jewel of the Emerald Coast. Since this former fishing village, which houses the architecture has not changed since the XIX th century, all roads lead to the Channel! Every day, we can discover a new beach.
Our preference is for Rougeret, which faces the Ebihens archipelago. At low tide, try to cross the foreshore to this string of islands. Do not miss a visit to the very beautiful abbey of Saint-Jacut; founded in the IV th century, restored in 1875, today it is managed by an association integrating a team of lay and religious community. In summer, the abbey becomes a guesthouse again where it is good to rest.
